Most men and women, especially the younger ones are too conscious with their body size and weight. They wanted to have a body that is seen in televisions, slim and sexy. No wonder, there are a lot of products available in the market today, promising instant and miraculous ways of burning fat. There are food supplements, weight loss teas and even pills. We are aware that at some point, these products give us unwanted side effects. Losing weight is not easy. Having a weight loss program and practice is never a smooth task.
Losing Weight Means Breaking a Sweat. Most of us would want to lose weight but would not even want to lift a muscle. Exercising, particularly cardiovascular exercise is truly the most effective way of losing weight. This includes running, jogging, swimming, biking, jumping and weight lifting. Cardiovascular exercise lets you lower your blood pressure, burn fats effectively and make you heart and lungs stronger. As each individual has its unique amount of body fat, daily calorie intake and metabolic rates, the amount of exercise needed varies from person to person.
Individuals with existing medical conditions such as heart problems and high blood pressure should always be aware with their limits. Even with a healthy person, one should not exert themselves too much. They may trigger breathlessness and chest pain that may lead to unwanted medical emergencies. Remember, too much of anything is not healthy at all.
For an effective cardio exercise, you have to make sure that the exercise you are doing it within the fat burning zone. This is determined by how fast your pulse rate is. For example, in order to be in a fat burning zone, a certain person needs to have 130 pulse beats per minute, and if it is reached, the fats are definitely burned.
The best time to do cardio exercise is in the morning before you eat your breakfast. As you wake up, your body does not have glycogen or carbohydrates-sugar stored in the body. Because of this, exercising in the morning lets you burn fats 300% more efficient than doing it at a different time of the day. Before doing so, you must not forget to drink around 15 to 25 ounces of water to prevent dehydration.
Losing Weight Means Effective Diet. Your daily calorie intake greatly influences your weight and fat production. If currently you know you are eating the wrong food, you might want to change your diet. As you exercise and consume energy, you should replenish it by eating a well balance diet.
Always be aware to what you eat and drink. Sometimes, it may seem like a healthy, light meal but in reality, it adds up on your problem. A perfect example would be salad. People who are dieting, especially women would rather eat salad than eat rice meals for it usually contains a high amount of calorie and fats. But what they do not know is that mayonnaise and other salad dressings, which they usually add on to their salads, contains a high amount of fat and calories as well. Another example is baked potatoes but with a lot of butter.
Losing weight is not easy. You must be determined and should have prepared yourself into it, both physically and mentally. In every method you choose, be sure that it is something that you want and love to do, something that will break a little sweat. If you are not happy of what you are doing, then success is way too far ahead.
