Does all acne treatments work? It’s not unusual to hear people with acne problems complain that the acne treatment they are using doesn’t work.
Even if a treatment seems to be working for your friend, it doesn’t mean that it is the best treatment for you.
1. Use medication according to your skin type
Remember to choose acne products according to your skin type. If you have sensitive skin, or maybe oily skin, you might not be able to use the very first product advertised on TV.
Many of the acne medications and treatments available on the market have a lot of chemicals, and are designed to help if your acne is very bad. So if you have a mild case of acne, but start using these products, they can cause skin irritation. If you are already suffering from acne, this is exactly what you want to avoid.
Make it a habit to always read the caution labels before you start using this kind of product.
2. Use wonder vitamins for the skin.
Start eating foods that are rich in vitamin C and drink natural fruit juices that are high in vitamin C. You have to take in a sufficient amount of these vitamins, since vitamin C is one of those vitamins that we do not store in the body.
To illustrate, if you have a glass of fruit juice in the afternoon, the source of vitamin C will be out of your system by the evening. So to maintain a good level of C vitamin, take in some form of vitamin C three times every day. This will help maintaining the collagen, and in repairing your skin.
3. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a miracle for many skin irritations. Even though it is a natural medicine, it has a lot of medicinal qualities and is very effective when treating acne. It can also be effective in removing acne scars. Using Aloe Vera soap can help reducing the risk of inflammations.
